Milano Malpensa, 28 August 2026 – United Airlines has announced a new three-times weekly seasonal service between Milano Malpensa Airport (MXP) and Washington Dulles (IAD), starting 29 May 2027, subject to government approval.
United will be the only airline offering a nonstop service between Milan and the Washington D.C. area.

The new Milano Malpensa to Washinton Dulles service will build on United’s existing services from Italy to the U.S., including year-round daily service from Milano Malpensa to Newark/New York, nearly year-round flights from Milan to Chicago O’Hare, seasonal services from Rome to Denver and San Francisco, and from Naples, Venice, Palermo and Bari to Newark/New York, as well as launching in May 2027, services from Olbia and Catania to Newark/New York  United will operate up to 16 daily nonstop services from Italy to the U.S., serving eight destinations in Italy nonstop from the U.S. – more than any other airline.
