Milan, October 9, 2024 – Yesterday, the first Board of Directors of VEGA – Vertical Gateway, a newly established company dedicated to the development of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) in Italy, with an initial focus on Milan and Lombardy, was convened. VEGA's shareholders include SEA Milan Airports, the company managing Milan's airports, Skyports, a leader in vertiport infrastructure for the AAM industry, and 2i Aeroporti, Italy's leading airport platform controlled by F2i – Italian Infrastructure Funds and Ardian Infrastructure.
